One of the easiest ways in Runescape to make money on a free-to-play server is to collect Zammy wines and sell them to members leveling herblore. Done correctly, you can expect to make 95k gp per hour in addition to magic XP (some of the most expensive experience to get).
Here is what you will need:
Level 33 Magic.
- If you don't have this, cast Confuse 300 times and then cast Curse 500 times. This shouldn't take more than an hour or cost more than 15k gp.
Around 200 Law Runes.
- This will cost around 60k to 90k depending on what you pay for your laws. The less you pay, obviously, the more you are going to make per wine. I will be willing to sell you law runes for 450 gp each if you cannot find a cheaper seller.
Stuff that can help:
Staff of Air -- will save you 1 air rune per wine.
Level 37 Magic -- save walking time by teleporting back to Falador
43 Prayer or a good combat level -- if you kill all of the monks, you can save law runes.
Alright, what do you do?
Step 1: Go to Falador Bank and withdraw 30 laws (and one water if you want to teleport). Wear light clothing so your run energy lasts unless you want to fight the monks.
Step 2: Go to the Chaos Temple north of Falador (follow the red line).
Step 3: Enter the Chaos Temple. You will see the Wine of Zamorak on the table in front of you, but do NOT pick it up. If you do, you will take 2 - 4 damage and all of the monks will begin to attack you. Watch out; the area is multicombat and the monks hit up to 8!
Step 4: Cast telegrab on the wine on the table to get the wine.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Be careful if there are other users telegrabbing wines. If you both cast telekinetic grab on the wine at the same time; one of you will waste your law rune. I would reccomend switching servers if you come across another telegrabber.
Step 5: Wait for the wine to respawn, and repeat!
NOTE: The time it takes for the wine to respawn is based on the number of players in a world. Because of this, you want to go to the most crowded server possible. On a full server; the respawn time is 15 seconds. On a server with 1000 players, the respawn time is 30 seconds.
Step 6: Sell your wines to a member leveling herblore or any merchanter.
How much are Wines of Zamorak worth?
A wine of Zamorak generally sells around 1000 gp on a members server. Most people will not be willing to trade with you unless you have 100 or more wines. Most people will not bother coming to your world unless you have at least 200 wines.
What can I expect to make in an hour?
Well, you should be able to get law runes for 350 gp and sell your wines for 1000 gp.
Assuming you are on a reasonably crowded world; and factoring in reaction time and telegrabbing time; you can get a wine every 20 seconds. Therefore you should be able to complete your inventory (26 wines) in 8 or 9 minutes. It should take 15 seconds to teleport and bank, and around a minute and a half to run back. (If you don?t teleport back, add a minute and a half to each cycle)
5.5 to 6 cycles an hour * 26 wines * 650 gp profit - 2100 gp teleports = 91025 gp to 99300 gp per hour.
Also, you will earn Magic xp :
5.5 to 6 cycles an hour * 26 telegrabs * 43 mage xp + 282 mage xp (teleports) = 6408 xp to 6990 xp per hour.
Not amazing xp, but consider it a bonus to the cash.

What about luring?
Luring used to be very common at the Chaos Temple. People would lure newbies or other people there and tell them to take the wine. When they did, the monks would attack and the lurer could close the door until the monks killed them. People still try this; however now that the door cannot be closed it is very likely that the target will make it out of the temple alive.
Can I use an auto telegrab the wines?
I am not that familiar with macros in Runescape, however, grabbing the wines would appear to be a relatively simple task to automate. If you can find one or if you are making one; make sure it changes worlds when another telegrabber is there; or you?ll probably do nothing but waste law runes.
This is boring!
Yes, doing this by itself is very boring. However, for the 15 seconds that you are waiting, find something else to do either on Runescape or something else. Kill the monks for combat xp, high alch something, read the Zeeburb forums, or watch stuff on youtube if your computer can run both. I find that if you do that and check back regularly, you?ll grab a little slower but it?ll be much easier (and almost fun) to do.
